Adelaide man dead after horror three-vehicle crash on South Eastern Freeway

A man had died in a horror three-vehicle crash that brought traffic to a near-standstill for several hours during peak hour south-east of Adelaide.
Late on Thursday afternoon, emergency services were called to the South Eastern Freeway between Stirling and Bridgewater.
A statement from SA Police said a four-wheel-drive travelling outbound crashed into a station wagon and motorcycle heading toward Adelaide.
The motorcycle rider, a 53-year-old man from Highbury, died at the scene.
The other drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for minor treatment.
