Adelaide named Australia’s coolest city in The Wall Street Journal

Adelaide has been crowned Australia’s coolest city by a major US media outlet for its world-class selection of restaurants, nearby wineries and picturesque landscapes.

The Wall Street Journal named South Australia’s capital city as Australia’s best, despite it being less famous and desirable for tourists when compared to Sydney and Melbourne.

The publication described Adelaide’s smaller population of 1.3 million and compact footprint as an advantage because it meant the city was easy to roam and drive through.
