Cheryl Salisbury set to commentate Women's World Cup matches for Optus

Cheryl Salisbury was there for many of the Matildas' milestone moments.
Now, the Newcastle-grown Australian footballing legend believes the current crop of players can take the next step and earn their first Women's World Cup semi-final appearance and possibly even go further.
The Matildas, who feature Newcastle Jets pair Gema Simon and Emily van Egmond, open their 2019 World Cup campaign against Italy in France on Sunday night. They also play Brazil then Jamaica in Group C.
