South Australia is due to come out of lockdown from midnight — but it was only a little over a week ago that the state was thrown into chaos when the first case in a COVID-19 cluster was detected.
That case was an 81-year-old man who is believed to have picked up the virus during his time in quarantine in New South Wales, after returning from Argentina.
He passed the virus on to his daughter and another close family contact, and from there the Modbury cluster grew.
